This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Code Breaker
(package ID com.vireqogames.codebreaker) handles information.
It applies to the English-language app. Some sections distinguish the version currently
available on Google Play from a planned future update that will introduce advertising.
Summary
- Google Play today (version 1.0.0): offline puzzle play, no in-game ads, no advertising SDK in the reviewed release build, and no Internet permission in that release configuration.
- Planned update (version not yet set): Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads, Internet and related network permissions, and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) where applicable. That update is not described as already live on Google Play in this policy.
- Campaign progress and sound/haptics settings are stored on your device. Vireqo Games does not operate a backend API that receives your game saves automatically.
- When advertising is enabled, Google (not Vireqo Games) processes data related to ads under Google’s Privacy Policy. That data is separate from the local save files described below.
Which version this policy describes
Currently on Google Play — version 1.0.0
The store listing for Code Breaker version 1.0.0 does not include in-game advertising or the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the release build reviewed for this policy. Gameplay does not require an account or sign-in. Vireqo Games does not automatically receive your local progress or settings from that version.
Planned update with Google AdMob (version TBD)
A future Android update is planned to add Google AdMob using anchored adaptive banner ads and occasional full-screen interstitial ads. It will not include rewarded, app-open, or native ad formats in the implementation reviewed for this policy. No third-party mediation adapters are configured in the reviewed project. The future version number and release date are not yet determined.
Ad placement in that planned build:
- Banners on the main menu, level select, Random Game difficulty screen, settings, and the end-of-round result screen (success or failure overlay).
- No banner during active guessing while you are playing a puzzle (before the result overlay).
- Interstitials only between finished rounds, subject to in-app frequency limits (minimum time and number of completed rounds between displays).

Audience
Code Breaker is a logic and deduction puzzle game intended for a general audience who enjoy mind games. The app does not require you to provide your age. This policy does not state that the app is exclusively for adults or formally directed at children. Parents and guardians can use device and store controls where available.
Information stored by the app on your device (Vireqo Games)
The following describes data handled by the game itself on your device. It does not describe data processed by Google for advertising (see the advertising section).
Information you do not need to provide
The app does not ask you to create an account or provide a name, email address, or other contact details inside the game.
Local files
To support offline play, the app stores data in its private storage area on your device
(Godot user:// paths). This may include:
-
Campaign progress (for example, which levels are unlocked, star ratings, and campaign completion state),
saved in a file such as
campaign_progress.json. This data relates to game progress, not to puzzle secret solutions. -
Player settings (for example, sound effects and haptics on or off),
saved in a file such as
player_settings.cfg.
This locally stored data is not designed to identify you personally. Vireqo Games does not automatically collect or receive these files from your device.
Information held temporarily in memory
If you leave an active game and return to the menu, the app may keep a suspended game session in memory so you can continue playing. That session is not written to a separate long-term save file for privacy purposes in the reviewed code; it is cleared when you start a new game, reset progress, or otherwise clear the session through normal app actions.
Advertising and Google (planned update only)
The following applies to the planned AdMob update, not to Google Play version 1.0.0. When that update is published, loading and displaying ads requires an Internet connection and uses Google’s Mobile Ads SDK and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). The specific library versions bundled in a given app release may change with SDK or plugin updates.
Google may process information related to advertising when you use the ad-enabled version, which can include (depending on your device, region, and settings) advertising identifiers, IP address, device-related signals, and ad interaction data. Google processes advertising-related data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. Vireqo Games does not receive a copy of that advertising data in the game’s local save files described above.
The reviewed app code does not integrate separate Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or Sentry SDKs for gameplay. Mediation networks beyond Google AdMob are not configured in the reviewed project.
Consent and Privacy Options (UMP, planned update)
In the planned ad-enabled version, the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) through the AdMob integration. Whether UMP shows a consent message depends on Google’s configuration and your region (for example, requirements in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland). UMP is not guaranteed to display a form to every user in every country.
In the reviewed implementation, the game initializes and requests ads only when the consent status reported by UMP is allowed for ads (for example, when consent is not required or has been obtained). When the status is not allowed (for example, unknown or consent still required), the game does not initialize the Mobile Ads SDK or load ads through that path. The game remains playable; it does not block the user interface while waiting for consent or ads.
If Google indicates that Privacy Options are required, a Privacy Options control may appear in in-game Settings so you can open Google’s privacy options form again. When that requirement does not apply, the button stays hidden.
Failures to load or display a consent form do not guarantee the same outcome in every situation; the app’s ad gate follows the consent status returned by the UMP integration after each update attempt. Regional behavior should be verified on a real device before relying on store disclosures.
What version 1.0.0 does not include (as reviewed)
Based on review of the release build for Google Play version 1.0.0:
- No in-game ads or advertising SDK integration in that release.
- No analytics, crash-reporting, or social-login SDK integration detected in game scripts for that release.
- No HTTP or API client usage in game scripts for sending app data to Vireqo Games servers.
- No user profile or sign-in system in the app.
- No in-app feature reviewed that shares your game data to other users or social networks.
App stores, device manufacturers, or system components outside this app may process limited technical information according to their own policies (for example, when you download or update the app from a store). This policy describes the Code Breaker app itself, not those third-party services.
Device permissions and features
Version 1.0.0 on Google Play
The Android release configuration reviewed for version 1.0.0 sets Internet permission to off and enables Vibrate so optional haptic feedback can work when you leave haptics enabled in settings. You can turn haptics off in the in-game settings.
Planned ad-enabled update
The planned AdMob update requires Internet and related network access (for example, Access network state) so ads can load. Test builds reviewed for advertising also declare permissions used by Google’s advertising libraries (for example, advertising ID-related permissions). The exact list on your device may depend on Android version and the build you install; check your device’s app info screen.
Vibrate may remain available for haptics in settings depending on the release configuration at publish time.
How long data is kept
Locally stored progress and settings remain on your device until you remove them—for example by using the in-game option to reset campaign progress, by deleting the app’s data through your Android device settings, or by uninstalling the app. Vireqo Games does not control copies on your device after you delete app data or uninstall the app.
How long Google retains advertising-related data is governed by Google’s policies and your choices, not by Vireqo Games’ local save files.
If you email us, we may retain your message and our reply for as long as needed to respond and maintain ordinary business records. We have not specified a fixed retention period in this policy.
Children
Code Breaker is not described in this policy as an app directed specifically at children. The app does not require account registration and does not transmit local game progress to Vireqo Games. When the ad-enabled version is released, advertising and consent behavior will also depend on Google AdMob and Google Play settings configured by the developer at that time. Parents and guardians can use device and store parental controls where available.
Changes to this policy and the app
When the ad-enabled version is published, this policy’s effective date and the Google Play listing should be updated so they match the build users receive (including the Play Console Data safety section). Material changes may also be communicated through the store listing where appropriate.
The app is currently offered in English. If the app is localized later, translated privacy information may be provided for those languages.
